Cold Air Induction
The standard system
draws warm air from a small opening in the top panel
and from a restrictive tube behind the bumper bar.
SS Inductions’ Big Mouth™ system channels
cool air from the front of the moving car - from
under the bonnet and also from the front grill area
by utilising the unique SS Inductions’ aluminium
air scoop which attaches to the air-conditioning
condenser. This extra airflow is then rammed through
the lower and front openings in the induction unit
directly to the double entry intake connected to
the standard airbox, ensuring maximum delivery of
cold air to the motor.
Expect up to 12kW increase at the rear wheels, smoother
performance, more responsive throttle and a considerable
fuel saving.
The three-part kit consists of plastic induction
unit, plastic double entry connecting intake and
the unique SS Inductions’ aluminium air scoop.

Growler Cold Air Induction
The standard system draws warm air

Growler system incorporates a streamlined pod style
airbox that draws cool air from behind and beneath
the headlight and rams it through a superior long-life
Big Mouth™ pod filter (manufactured by Kingdragon®,
Italy).
Expect up to 16kW increase at rear wheels, smoother
performance, more responsive throttle, a considerable
fuel saving and a nice induction growl under hard
acceleration.
The four-part kit consists of plastic pod-style
airbox with lid, plastic replacement front panel
and the Big Mouth™ pod filter (which normally

Big Mouth™
CNC Billet Airflow Meter
The
airflow meter basically measures airflow directly,
with an electronic sensor on the air stream of the
intake providing an output voltage reading that
is proportional to the mass air flowing into the
engine. The airflow meter then sends the necessary
information to the ECU, which recalculates fuel
flow and ignition timing.
The SS Inductions’ Big Mouth™ Airflow
Meter has a superior flow rate compared to standard
and a more streamlined airflow compared to a modified
meter. It uses the original centre with the electronic
sensors from your standard airflow meter to ensure
there are no engine management problems.
The resulting changes to the air/fuel ratio and
ignition timing mean a noticeable power gain (up
to 12kW at the rear wheels) and a considerable saving
in fuel consumption. This is a non-exchange item
that enables the original meter to be retained.

Intake
Pipe
The standard
pipe connecting the airflow meter and throttle body
is very small in diameter and has inner ridges that
disrupt airflow.
The SS Inductions’ intake pipe is a three-piece
high volume plastic pipe with flexible rubber ends.
The increased air mass ensures improved throttle
response while the inner smoothness is less disruptive
to the airflow at all speeds. RRP $185.00.

Big Mouth™
CNC Billet Throttle Body
The
standard throttle body has a 74mm butterfly and
is very restrictive.
The SS Inductions’ Big Mouth™ Throttle
Body with its 78mm butterfly delivers greater torque
and throttle response through the entire rev range.
Expect an increase of up to 8kW at the rear wheels.
The kit includes sealed bearings and full fitting
instructions detailing how to swap switches, shaft
etc over from the standard throttle body. This is
a non-exchange item that enables the original throttle
body to be retained. RRP $699.00.

Covers
Heat retention
is a big problem with attaining optimum performance
from the LS1 engine. Similar to the covers on the
limited edition HSV GTS, the SS Inductions’
dual engine covers not only look great but, just

protective heat shield.

Air Deflector Fins
These Air Deflector Fins adhere to the top of the rear window (sedan only) to give a great sporty look and reduce drag & turbulence at the rear of the vehicle.
As a vehicle moves forward the air flowing over the roof becomes separated and turbulent, creating drag. The Air Deflector Fins create a series of vortices smoothing out the airflow and causing it to stick to the back of the vehicle, reducing the total drag. The rear window is left cleaner and drier in wet conditions as there is no longer a vacuum pulling in dirt and water, meaning you have better visibility and clearer rear vision!
