Growler® Cold Air Induction
The
Growler® Cold Air Induction is a replacement airbox that captures cool
air from the large chamber behind & beneath the headlight. It is
designed to maximise the volume and speed of air intake with a smooth,
undisrupted flow. The kit includes the high performance Big Mouth®
inverted cone rewashable pod filter, which is easily accessed for
cleaning, and a plastic heat shield to stop engine bay heat from
entering the Growler® airbox. Also included in the kit as an optional
feature is our plastic air dam which attaches to the underneath of the
front spoiler to ram even more airflow into the Growler® airbox.
Expect power gains of up to 12rwkw (V6) and 16 rwkw (V8), increased low
down torque, sharper throttle response and improved fuel economy. Tests
reveal air temperature is decreased with the Growler® airbox by up to
10°C.
Expect also a nice induction growl under heavy acceleration.

Big Mouth® Intake 'Y' Pipe
The
Big Mouth® Intake 'Y' Pipe is a uniquely designed high flow pipe that
replaces the factory unit connecting throttle body and airflow meter.
The 'Y' Pipe's shape and size ensures the motor receives maximum
airflow from initial acceleration right through the rev range. Power
increases of up to 8rwkw can easily be achieved with much sharper
throttle response.
Retaining that factory look, the 'Y' Pipe is manufactured from
industrial grade reinforced plastic for strength and minimal heat soak
and comes complete with flexible rubber ends. Suits VE V8 only, with
airflow meter or with maf-less tune, and can be fitted to either the
factory or the Growler® airbox.

OTR Growler® Cold Air Induction
The OTR Growler® Cold Air Induction is a high performance over-the-radiator system. It uses two extremely efficient inverted cone rewashable pod filters attached to a ‘Y-Pipe’. The Y-pipe and filters are housed in a cowling which is specially designed to capture and channel the maximum amount of cool air through the filters and into the throttle body. The cowling clips apart for easy access to clean the filters.
As the OTR Growler® does not use the vehicle’s airflow meter, a maf-less tune is required when fitted.
The fitting instructions include a discount voucher giving $200 off the normal RRP from selected tuners for the maf-less tune.
As the unit is designed primarily for track use, customers should check with their state Road Traffic Authority regarding the legality for general road use.
The unit fits directly onto a standard car in less than 10 minutes (plus tune time) with no altering of radiator mounts.
Expect power gains of up to 39rwkw (incl. tune), huge increases in throttle response and torque – from zero to hero. Your car will also have that V8 Supercar sound.

Y Pipe Cold Air Induction
The Y Pipe Cold Air Induction is a high quality low priced induction to suit all VE V8 models. It features our uniquely designed high flow Y Pipe to provide performance gains across the entire rev range and to ensure maximum air at the throttle body thereby eliminating throttle lag. Both the Y Pipe and connecting elbow are manufactured from the highest grade industrial reinforced ABS for quality and strength and to avoid heat soak commonly experienced with metal piping.
The large inverted cone rewashable pod filter has been specially designed to provide the best combination of airflow and filtration possible.
Included in the kit is a mounting bracket to make sure the elbow and pod filter are fully supported, replacement vacuum line and everything needed for an easy installation.
The Y Pipe Induction is able to be used with or without an airflow meter.
Expect up to 10rwkw power gain (more with a manual transmission) when retaining the airflow meter and considerably more with a maf-less tune, better throttle response and torque with improved fuel economy and improved performance over the entire rev range.

Air Deflector Fins
These Air Deflector Fins adhere to the top of the rear window (sedan
only) to give a great sporty look and reduce drag & turbulence at
the rear of the vehicle. As a vehicle moves forward the air flowing
over the roof becomes separated and turbulent, creating drag. The Air
Deflector Fins create a series of vortices smoothing out the airflow
and causing it to stick to the back of the vehicle, reducing the total
drag. The rear window is left cleaner and drier in wet conditions as
there is no longer a vacuum pulling in dirt and water, meaning you have
better visibility and clearer rear vision!
Manufactured from high grade black ABS plastic in a smooth or textured
finish, these Air Deflector Fins may be painted to match your vehicle
