Thank you for explaining last week for over 25 mins about your products and on your recommendation I purchased the Growler cold air induction and the Big Mouth Intake Y Pipe for my VE SSV Commodore. I advised you I had already upgraded my exhaust system and this was the final step to a lot more grunt. My car is now a 300kw beast. Thank you SS Inductions. What a fine product.

Well I've just installed the Growler CAI kit and Y Pipe.
One word......WOW!
It's amazing how good the improvement is! When I put my foot down to the floor, I instantly get thrown back into my seat. The growl of the CAI is incredible as it sucks up the air. Thank god for traction control! Very happy with the products and it was all quite easy to fit.

Hi

I just wanted to say how great I think the product is - before installing the XR6 CAI I was achieving fuel consumption in the range of 16-17L/100klm. This was in normal traffic conditions with overdrive switched off. With the kit I'm now getting an average of 13.3L/100klm up to about 14 in heavier conditions.
I would recommend your product to anyone (already have to my mates) not to mention the superb customer care and service.

I am writing this email to thank you for the advice - I ended up buying a Growler system for my wife's VZ SS Commodore and installed it myself, and what a difference it has made to the car. More power, more fuel economy, smoother gear changes and acceleration. Now getting low 11 litres per 100 klms. The car used to consume 16 litres per 100 klms. I would recommend this product to any HSV/SS owner...it's a must before spending $$$ on an exhaust system and ECU modifications.
And what a growl it has now on open throttle!!!

I recently fitted one of your induction systems to my Ford Falcon AU XR8. I am very impressed with your product, both in quality and performance and thought I would send you some feedback on how the induction system performs.
The vehicle has now travelled about 600 kilometres since the installation and the difference in overall performance is substantial.
The improvement in throttle response is very good, the induction has breathed new life (excuse the pun) into this vehicle.
With headers fitted the low to mid range torque was very good anyway, the CAI has improved this even further, the engine revs much easier all the way to the redline. This for a Windsor motor which are somewhat restrictive is very impressive. I am very pleased with the overall improvement SS Inductions system has made and I recommend this modification to all Ford Falcon AU owners, I have no hesitation with this.

Just thought I would drop you a quick note following on from before.
I bought both the induction kit and filter (for my Suzuki Swift Sport 2006) and fitted them a week ago. You were right - I had no problems with fitting.
I am delighted with the improvements to performance, drivability and sound of the car. Prior to fitting the car had a flat spot from 2000rpm to about 3500rpm. Performance is now smooth all the way through the rev range and seat of the pants feel is that acceleration is much improved. I have done approx 100klm since installation.
All up cost was $400 and I feel that represents great value for money given the improvements the induction kit and filter have made. It also looks good in the engine bay.

I have a Growler air induction kit on my XR6 Turbo.
Here's how I feel about your product:
The Growler kit gives a great blow off noise, as well as the induction noise and noticeable gains in power and fuel economy. I gained 19rwkw from the kit and it saves me $18 a week on BP Ultimate! It will pay itself off within 6 months and I no longer have to spend more money on a blow off valve as it sounds awesome already! Thanks SS Inductions for an awesome product.

I received my induction kit the other day. Very easy to install, took about 25mins. Power increase was noticeable straightaway and already have seen the fuel economy increase from 14.5L/100 to 12.1L/100. Awesome thanks heaps guys.

I'm feeling guilty that I haven't contacted you earlier and thanked you for the VE Growler.
Kev, you installed the kit into my VE SS for me about 3 months ago (a couple days after it was released). You told me at the time that it would probably take a couple tanks of fuel before I really noticed the difference...crap! I had only driven it for about 5 minutes after leaving your workshop when I just had to 'floor it' in low gear to see if there was any noticeable difference right away, damn thing scared the hell out of me, I couldn't believe something so simple could make such a difference. And yes, it got better and better over the next few weeks. A recent day trip from Ormeau to Maroochydore and back (320klms travelled) returned a fuel reading of 9.5lt/100klm without using the cruise control, and I'm getting 13.9 to 14.1 around town. It wasn't that long ago that 4 cylinder cars were getting that. And the sound of the Growler system, well truth is, if I'd known how good it was going to sound I would have paid the $550 for that alone. The extra power and better fuel economy really are a bonus. I must mention that before I purchased the Growler I was a bit sceptical of some of the testimonials on your website. Not any more!
So, Kev & Kaye, thank you for a fantastic product at a great price and for the fantastic service that came with it. You should be very proud of your product and your business.

I just purchased a Growler induction for my VZ 3.6 from American Autos in Straithfield NSW and I was really surprised at how much of a difference it really does make. I thought I would get some power and grunt, however, just how much is amazing. It sounds great with my cat back exhaust too and I'm laughing when I tell people how quickly I began saving fuel, down to 9.4L/100km on the M7 in the first day! Awesome product and will be getting another for my next car.

Even though I only gave 1 hours notice, you said come on in to get the Growler installed on my manual VE SS. If you could have seen the grin on my face the first time I put my foot down, Priceless. Thanks mate for a great system which has already lopped 2 litres per hundred off my average, bringing it to an even 14 litres per hundred (mainly city driving). The Growler system combined with a cat back exhaust has given me great induction and exhaust noises making the SS sound like a V8 instead of a vacuum cleaner. Had it on the dyno yesterday - 325rwhp/242rwkw and max torque of 530nm at the wheels. Totally satisfied and will be telling anyone who cares what mods it has done.

I recently fitted the Growler to my VE SSV 6L manual @ 2000klms, being the first one as you know.
I wouldn't say I was happy with it, I'd have to say I was ecstatic. It really made the vehicle much more pleasurable to drive (even for my wife), fuel economy has improved around town from 18.5 LP 100 to a comfortable 14.5 to 15.7. Highway has been down to 9's on cruise control and 10 under foot.
The service we received from you was impeccable. Thanks for a great product which we would recommend thoroughly.

Just thought I would let you know how happy I am with my Cold Air Induction system.
I have an HSV GTS E series which I have had dyno tuned by Powertorque. I've also fitted a custom cat back exhaust. After these modifications were done there was a big difference in power but it felt like there was something missing. Having used SS Inductions Cold Air intake systems on my 3 previous cars, I thought I would try one of your new Growler systems.
I knew they helped increase performance but not to the extent this new system has. It's like "the icing on the cake".
More throttle response.
More low down grunt.
Instant power.
Better fuel economy (10.5 litres per 100km)
Great sound.

I purchased the Growler kit for my BA XR8 ute and the performance gains I noticed directly after installing it is to an impressive level, and the computer over a period adjusted to the new airflow and the gains were even better.
The fuel economy has definitely improved significantly and the induction growl is something to talk about, very impressive.
The under bonnet appearance of the Growler kit definitely enhances the engine bay.
When doing highway cruising you know your car is loving it but when you put the foot down to overtake a car,the note the engine gives when pushing those extra revs just makes you realise what a great investment this product really is. The torque of the car has definitely gone up a few notches and to date am very impressed with the overall gains I have received from buying this product.
To anyone wanting something to make their V8 standout from the crowd and also keep the wallet full with the savings then I definitely recommend this product. I give this product a definite TWO THUMBS UP. Thanks Kev.

Hi,
I just wanted to let you know how happy I am with the Big Mouth induction on my 2005 Suzuki Swift. From the first time I drove it after it was put on I noticed a big difference. I found the car was so much smoother and responsive and as each day went on it just got better. It's gruntier and accelerates quicker and I love driving it now especially in the early morning when I go to work and it's cooler. It's got so much more power.
I'm getting about 50ks more out of a tankful too - that's mostly on the highway but even when I drive it hard I still get a saving.
Hey it looks great too, real stylish and a big improvement on standard although I must say it looks like a factory part, not out of the way at all. The scoop looks real cool also - I first thought about painting it to match my car (which is blue) but I really like the aluminium look so I'm going to leave it as it is. Sure looks better than seeing the radiator cap.
Anyway thanks very much - it's a real good product.
Can you please let me know when the sports filter will be in so I can get one of those too?

I bought your Big Mouth Cold Air Induction kit for my BA XR8 ute and in addition bought a k&n air filter. The difference it made was very noticeable, the exhaust note was significantly louder and more throaty, the way a good V8 should sound. I noticed acceleration improved dramatically especially at highway speeds, torque had definitely improved and the best thing I fully endorse is the fuel economy had risen substantially, utilising 98 octane fuel I managed to gain at least 80-100 km's a tank which at the end of the day is a saving. This product I give a massive tick in the box and recommend it to anyone wanting to gain better performance out of their car. Thanks Kev.

After being sent the wrong parts from another supplier I was extremely grateful for the service I received on the 22/12/2006 when you kept your business open for me after you has almost closed the doors for the Christmas break. You tried the new parts on the kit I had originally received and personally adjusted them for me. Your attention to detail and service is second to none.
Upon arriving home I fitted my Growler Cold Air Induction kit which fit and look like factory parts. Fitting was easy as described in the instructions and took about 20 minutes. The induction roar is fanatstic and even at this early stage I can feel a difference in performance. I can't wait for the computer to adjust itself fully to the new airflow.

Just wanted to let you know that I installed the Growler kit last night and I am EXTREMELY pleased with both the sound and power increase!!
I can not believe how such a simple bolt on can make such a large difference in response and acceleration. I have not yet seen the fuel saving however it has only been on since last night.

I called up just under two weeks ago and think I was talking to Kevin.
I have just bought the CAI018 - Growler kit - for my new VZ 6.0L SS Ute. And the best way to describe my reaction when I first took it out for a spin was Oh My God! I am absolutely ecstatic with the results,I have only had it installed for 2 days now so haven't yet experienced the better economy, but the subtle power gains and the noise is unbelievable! I'm more than happy with my purchase and will be recommending your product to everyone.
Also the installation was a breeze so I'm glad Kevin suggested to not bother having a mechanic install it for me, as it would have been a waste of money.

Thought I'd give you some feedback about my "Growler" you installed
on my HSV GTS on my birthday.
Well thanks for the great birthday present! I've noticed some more
mid range response and an increase in power up top. The noise it
creates is a bit of a bonus. It was quite a shock when I first heard
it when I opened it up going onto the freeway. I've done some of my
usual runs to Caloundra to pick up the kids and see about a 5% 
reduction in fuel use although you mentioned it will get better as
the ECU adapts.

Many thanks for fitment and quality of your product installed on 31/7/06.

As we discussed I was not happy with the restricted air intake box of my 05 HSV VZ 6 litre Clubsport, manual gearbox. It was no better than my previous 1999 VT SS commodore 5.7 Gen3 original air box. I had used all your air intake, MAF & throttle body gear on my VT Gen 3 and was so impressed with the gains in power and response, that I had no hesitation with using the new Growler Air Intake on my 05 HSV VZ 6 litre Clubsport.

So far I have had all gains.

1. The recent trip between Gold Coast and Newcastle (NSW) and driving in the same manner I normally drive I averaged 30.5 miles per gallon with the Growler installed. Previously I had averaged for the same trip 28 miles per gallon with the original air box. Very Pleased.

2. Growler noise under medium to hard acceleration brings a smile to my face every time.

3. More responsive when accelerating from light throttle. With the original air intake the rate of acceleration under full throttle rolled over between 5000 - 6000 rpm. Now with the growler the acceleration stays the same as before 5000 rpm and when it hits 6000 rpm feels like it would just keep going. Quite exhilarating.

4. Excellent fitment and look - like original equipment.

Hi guys,
I’m a huge fan of your products after installing a CAI unit and a High Performance Filter in my BA 6cyl Falcon Ute. Installation was a breeze.

After some 500kms the difference is unbelievable, smoother acceleration, easier revving, better fuel economy from 18lt/100km city driving to 13-14lt/100km. The engine pulls harder from around 3000rpm, and overtaking is much better on highways, the kickdown and pull is fantastic.

I have now put a set of HM Headers & Sports Exhaust, which has also improved the performance of the car and the fuel economy again! Around 10lt/100km highway driving. Keep up the good work and great products.

I must also make mention of the way you did the installation. Dear Kaye,

I know it is now some time since the sagas of purchasing my SS Induction kit but I recently did a trip from Penrith to Wagga Wagga which I thought you should know about.

The significance of this trip is that it is the only long trip I have done before and after the SS Induction kit was installed.

The previous time I did this trip, I had recently done exhaust modifications and installed a Powerchip in my car. I was astounded by the increase in performance and I managed a previously unheard of 16/100 fuel economy. I was very happy!

The other week I did the same trip, no other changes to the car except the installation of your kit, and WOW! I achieved an incredible 10/100 fuel economy and the car just cruised like never before. NOW I AM HAPPY!!!

This email is just to say a huge thank you to you and your team and to again request that if you come up with any further modifications for my VT 5.0 ltr V8, I'd love to hear about them.

I hope I remembered those names right!?

I installed one of your 80mm Vortex Channel Throttle Bodies on my BA Falcon XR8 around 2 months ago.

I have travelled around 800 K's now and the throttle body has definitely transformed my little baby. The performance gain has been quite significant and I am very, very pleased with the results so far. I am looking forward to a custom tune for my software edit which I believe will take full advantage of the throttle bodies design.

The throttle body is teemed with one of your CAI's (fitted 12 months ago) which I am very pleased with also, it not only helped my baby breath better but makes my engine bay look a million.

Thanks from a Ford and SSI fan, please keep the good things coming and thanks for not forgetting about Fords (most do).

Hi Kevin

Thanks for fitting the SS Cold Induction system and computer cover to my BA MKII XR6 (with the BF radiator). Since it was done just over a week ago I have already found a noticeable difference in the overall drivability of the car. Acceleration is so much smoother, on the highway the car isn’t dull (for lack of another word) but can feel it as being more ‘alive’ and have already saved bucks due to an improvement in fuel economy. That being said (saving bucks) I will now have to come back and get the throttle body fitted earlier than I had planned.

Hi Kevin,

We spoke a few days ago regarding a rough idle issue I was having with my car after fitting the Big Mouth Throttle body (to BA XR6 MkII manual). I must say after making the adjustments it has now disappeared...

I have also just fitted your cold air induction kit, and filter and I must say wow!! It has really made the car come alive. Much better overall throttle response and low down torque, and I need less gear changes to get around!! Also the growl from the motor at around 3500rpm through to redline is amazing yet purposeful and when overtaking at around 80-110kmph the car surges forward like it never used to.

Hi Kevin,

Checked out your stand at Car Expo Melb. end Oct. and purchased Cold Air Induction and Filter for my 96 Fairlane 4.0 Litre. Having now done approx. 500 k's the car is definately quicker and more responsive. Fuel economy appears to have improved. The car is now far more enjoyable to drive. This installation has given the car the increase in performance needed to move the weight off the line/overtaking. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

Hi Kevin,
I rang you about 6 weeks ago regarding the fitting of SS Inductions Cold Air System for my WH Statesman.
As I explained at the time, I'm no mechanic.
You told me at the time that I would have to do about 500k before I noticed a difference.
After fitting the system, I gave it 500k for the airflow meter to adjust the computer. Everything you promised, you delivered.
The torque increase of the Gen III is fabulous,It gets up and bloody goes!!
I am also very impressed with the fuel economy, I haven't done any freeway driving to date (that pleasure has yet to come) but I drive 20k each morning to work and then home again in the evening.
I used to get an average of 360k per tank in peak hour traffic, I am now getting 420k. With the way petrol pricing is going, the system is going to pay for it's self in no time.
Thanks for the friendly advice before my purchase and the technical assistance after my purchase. I can't recommend your products highly enough.

Kaye,

Installed the kit early this morning and have been out in the car ever since. Just for your information, I matched the kit to a BMC Air Filter and the car is now a real joy to drive in all situations but especially driving around in built up areas where this vehicle will do most of its work. It just seems so much more at ease with that type of environment than it previously did. In all honesty I was pretty disappointed with the car performance around town before I installed the kit, it just seemed so breathless and restricted.

My initial impression in one word is, 'phenomenal'. That is the only way that I can describe the improvement in throttle response. The notorious rough engine idle of the Holden Ecotec V6 and the general lag in off/on throttle situations has disappeared entirely. The improved enjoyment of driving the car was worth every cent that I have paid for the kit and filter.

As I mentioned previously I will give you a further impression in a week or two, but suffice to say I am totally and utterly smitten with the kit.

G'Day,
Have now had my big mouth fitted for a few hundred kays. I should’ve done it earlier. Acceleration is now 10 times smoother so expecting fuel economy gains. As I drive an RTV, 1st gear is not for fangin off the line, but 2nd and third are now more of a treat with awesome pull. As I do lots of highway driving, looking forward to even better overtaking pull. I had the big mouth on my AU, but on the BA its chalk and cheese.
Why I waited 80,000 kays to fit it is beyond me!

Just a quick note to say thanks for the professional manner in which I was treated, when you installed the cold air induction, computer cover, throttle body and the big mouth filter to my xr6 04 model. I must say at the beginning I did not notice a big difference but after some 650ks the power response, the smoothness in the throttle and the petrol savings have been quite impressive. I am obtaining at least 50-80ks more out of the tank and that’s just city driving. So once again thanks and I hope your vision for your new place is not too far away.

I am enquiring about the benefits of putting on a CNC Billet Airflow meter on my 2002 VX SS. I already have the Big Mouth Cold Air Induction & Filter system fitted and was wanting to know will this Airflow meter make much of a difference to what is already done. Also I would like to say what a brilliant product the cold air induction system is. Since it was fitted late June 2004 the car hasn’t looked back. The performance and fuel economy was improved dramatically within a short time of being fitted. We travel a bit and have found that on the highway we are constantly getting around 720-800klms per tank. And this isn’t pussying along either. Around town we would average 450klms per tank. Also we again wanted to thank you for your assistance last year after we had the system fitted there was a slight fitment problem. This had been the distributors fault. We were on a trip in NSW and had contacted your office on the Gold Coast. They told us to drop in on our way through. When we arrived you happened to be there and served us and fixed the problem straightaway free of charge. I was just blown away by the service you provided. Since then I have recommended your products to a lot of my friends over this past year. I still remember how courteous & friendly you were to me & my family that day. Keep up the great service & will await your reply.

Hi,I have recently installed a cold air induction unit to my totally stock VZ "SS" ute and I LOVE the sound, to say the least I was shocked, the performance is noticeably increased as well (still waiting for it to run in before I notice fuel benefits though (or maybe it's my driving as now I'm a little heavier on the pedal to hear the sound)).

Just a quick note to let you know how well my car is now performing after fitting your SS Inductions products.
I have a 5.7 litre Holden and have fitted a cold air intake - Air Flow meter - large intake pipe - and throttle body and the car is now like a new car.
I have had some discussions with Alan in NZ over a couple of queries and all my questions were well resolved.

This is to let you know how happy I am with the WRX Cold Air Induction. After fitting the unit, I could instantly tell there was some improvement, however it wasn’t until the car had done around 500k that everything seemed to come together. The car feels significantly smoother, the “blackhole" below 3,000RPM is now a lighter shade of grey and my fuel consumption has improved. I am now getting between 35 and 50k more per a tank.

It was at this point I had the car dyno’d at Advanced Performance Centre (they had a base figure on the car from 3 months prior) and as expected, there was a considerable gain in power right through the rev range. At the top end, the graph showed an extra 6.5kw and 20nm of torque at the wheels.

I had the SS cold air induction fitted to my VY 6cyl commodore along with pacemaker extractors and a 2 ½ inch system by Ashmore Exhaust. I was amazed at the increase in performance and most of all how much smoother the car was to drive. I no longer get any lag when accelerating from around the 80 - 90 km/hr mark. I have also noticed an improvement in fuel consumption. I live on the Gold Coast and work in Brisbane and regularly return fuel consumption figure of less than 8l per 100km.
I would certainly recommend the SS induction system to anyone wanting to improve the performance of their commodore or even just get better fuel consumption. Now I want to fit a Power chip to get even more benefits.
With the Big Mouth air filter I did not get any maintenance instructions, could you please let me now the best method of cleaning it.

I recently fitted a Big Mouth induction unit to my AU XR8 and cannot believe the difference it makes. The vehicle now pulls so much harder than before and was quite simple to fit myself at home. Unlike some other so-called performance add ons that fail to live up to the manufacturer’s promises, I would definitely recommend that anybody looking to get that little extra oomph should fit one of these units.

Hi Kevin
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for committing your time and your company products to our project car. Your faith in your products effectiveness was certainly stretched to the limit when you agreed to have the fitting and subsequent testing of your products filmed for use in a story for the ‘Grunt Files’ DVD.
As you are aware, the concept was to take a stock VT SS Commodore, fitted with a GenIII LS1, and seeing how much horsepower we could generate with minimum effort and expense.
The car was dynode at every stage in the process, and the resulting figures were extremely encouraging.
Standard, the car produced 249 rwhp (185.6kw) and was boosted to 273 rwhp (203.6kw) by fitting Genie Tri-Y extractors and a twin 2 1/2” exhaust system – 24 horsepower increase.
Next step was a live edit, which lifted performance to 283 rwhp (211kw).
The SS Induction system was at the end of the list, and was installed as a complete system from the air intake through to the throttle body. The end result was 315 rwhp (235kw).
According to my calculations, the SS Induction system accounted for a massive 32 horsepower increase at the rear wheels.
I would have to say that, with the fitment of an exhaust system and cold air induction, plus a little fiddling with the computer, the GenIII engine would have to be one of the cheapest engines to modify for anyone wishing to develop credible street horsepower.
Of course the graphs from each session on the dyno are on file at our office, and we would be only too happy to produce copies for anyone wishing to verify the accuracy of these figures.

Just a short note of praise for your products. I have a current 2004 model HSV Grange that in almost 12 months has just clocked up 20,000kms of relatively ‘soft’ urban travel.
The 285kw GenIII is fine, but as you know, it’s a great motor to tweak. At the 20k service last week, I had the dealer install a “SS Inductions” cold air intake, plus the twin engine covers. I also made sure they installed a top-line K&N air filter. Combined with some good rear-end exhaust work (cat to muffler) done 6 months ago, I was quite simply amazed at the instantly noticeable performance boost from the new induction pathway. Even the temp gauge looks to be running slightly ‘cooler’ than before and I love the deep ‘whoosh’ induction throb from the Big Mouth under hard acceleration.
Great products that I will recommend to anyone.

I’m writing in regards to a recent purchase of one of your SS Inductions products for my EF Fairmont, six cylinder.
I installed it a week ago and in that week I have noticed more power and considerable fuel savings. I did want to put a pod system in my car but chose your product instead.
I think it was the best decision I ever made. I’m now wanting to add a 2 ½ inch exhaust system to complement your induction kit.

This is a letter of acknowledgement and thanks for supplying and fitting your product to our two Ford XR8 utes. This air induction and enlarged throttle body unit has in every way measured up to our expectations.
We are surprised at the increased performance this induction system has provided. This increase is noticeable right through the rev range however more so at higher revs where high torque is generated. To the car the sound of the engine breathing is also enhanced and combine this with the exhaust note it really encourages you to drive with your windows down, even on the colder days.
Getting away from the important stuff we have noticed a marked increase in economy. On open roads using cruise control set to 100kph the onboard computer is giving impressive results, 12.6 litres per 100km compared to 14.8 prior to fitting, this is using Premium 96 petrol.
Combine these results with your friendly and efficient service and you have two very happy customers. This enhancement to us represents money well spent.

Just a quick note to say cheers I just fitted an SS Inductions cold air intake to my VT SS and it now just wants to go, as before there was a real flat spot. Since fitting the intake the car is much more responsive and with the Genie extractors it really complements the overall performance of the car.
Great quality product and well priced, also easy to read fitting instructions. It’s a shame there is not more Aussie companies around that offer good quality automotive products.

I have since fitted an intake system, air filter, airflow meter, throttle body, HSV intake pipe and 9mm ignition leads and have noticed a considerable difference in how my VY Maloo now performs. I have had it fitted for over 1000km now and must admit the difference has put an already bigger smile on my face than the one I already had with this new car.

I am very impressed with the Big Mouth system I have purchased. The unit looks like a factory fit option and it has smoothed out some lower speed hesitations I was experiencing in my BA XR8 Ute. I have a K&N filter installed and a twin 2 1/2 " exhaust system on our ute, and together with the Big Mouth induction system the performance, economy and smoothness of the vehicle has increased noticeably.

Just a brief note to say how much I like the new cold air induction system.
Had the ute dyno’d the other day and while I thought there was a good difference after having it fitted, I couldn’t believe that combined with only extractors and a 2 ½” exhaust system, that I would get 233 horsepower at the rear whhels. Not bad at all from a non-turbo XR6.
I have no hesitation in promoting your product with anyone who’s looking for a good gain for minimal cost.

I had the SS Induction cold air system installed (after being told by a number of your opposition that it would not work, or worse that it would have a negative effect!). Well the results were immediately obvious within 500km.
Even at low to moderate revs there was a very noticeable difference in throttle response…the car, Series 2 Monaro, just seemed to leap forward with much less throttle. At high revs the difference was even more noticeable and the sound was of course much better!
Due to no fault of yours the system needed to be removed for a week while some other work was carried out on the car. The difference was even more evident after having experienced the benefits for a week, the car felt flat without it.

I have a VU SS ute that I had firstly fitted a new twin exhaust system with extractors. I was then advised of your products and since then I have added a cold air intake, big bore intake pipe and a new billet throttle body. Well the car drove very well but as all car freaks are I wanted to know the kilowatts at the wheels which I did yesterday and glad to see that the car now has 205kw at the wheels and 267kw at the motor (it screams). Keep up the good work.

This letter provides a testimonial to alterations carried out by Kevin Geary, HSV Specialist at Blackwell Motors in Christchurch.
In approximately July of 2002 I purchased a new VX Series II Holden HSV R8 from Blackwell Motors. After approximately 1500kms Kevin organised the removal of the factory twin exhaust system and replaced it with a ‘big bore’ system. At the same time he added a cold air induction system, manufactured by “SS Inductions of Australia”.
Both of these alterations made a more responsive and V8 sounding vehicle, its pick up in the passing manoeuvre was very noticeable.
In October of this year, Kevin added a replacement/exchange throttle body and mass airflow sensor, also from “SS Inductions Australia”. Again this made significant performance changes by:
• Far more responsive to throttle changes
• Deeper note in sound
• Real power difference of the rear wheels particularly in the open road feel and overtaking
• No greater fuel usage than before, therefore more fuel efficient with the alterations.

I just thought that I would let you know that I got a cold air intake for my car. I also got a K&N filter to go with it. I have a Holden V6 VS Berlina. Since I installed the intake and filter, I noticed an improvement straightaway. The car sounded smoother and accelerated better. I have dual fuel on my car and I have only tried it on gas. I can’t wait to try it on petrol (where it runs even better) and on a really cold night. I am rapt with your product and won’t have any trouble recommending it to anyone. I don’t know how these cars can be built with such a crappy induction system.

Just a note to pass on my thanks to yourself and your company for the excellent range of automotive enhancements you have available for the 5.7 lt GenIII.
My VX HSV R8 Auto is running beautifully since I fitted your equipment.
I originally fitted the cold air induction, MAF and Kingdragon air filter. As I drove home to Brisbane from the Coast the change in engine response and power were immediate especially throttle response. I found was just resting my foot on the accelerator pedal to cruise on the motorway.
I have fitted Pacemaker headers and modified system since fitting the cold air and MAF improving performance again.
Recently you fitted the modified throttle body and again “fantastic”. The engine has picked up extra performance both low down and up high. It really hammers now. Also there is a huge improvement in the auto transmission both in response and smoothness.
The difference in driving the vehicle now is quite remarkable. It is a pleasure to drive either just cruising around town or driving hard on a favourite stretch country road.
The car was dynode as standard at 253kw and improved to 274kw with the cold air induction and MAF meter, that’s 21kw.

Just thought I would let you guys know what I think of your induction systems. I took delivery of my new holden v6 vu ute back in june 2001, in the short time I have had it I’ve done a few mods to it, lowering, larger wheels, exhaust and a k&n air filter.
I was then told of your air intake systems, I must agree the standard intake is too small.
I had a look at your web site, then went and got one of your systems from one of your dealers here in brisbane.
It looks really great, so easy to fit, and gee wiz it made the biggest difference of the lot. The car is a 5 speed manual. Through the gear changes it feels more smooth, accelerates so much more readily, in general the car just goes so well.
Once again thanks for making such a great product, I’ll be telling a lot of others about your systems.

The MAF and Throttle Body have dramatically changed the characteristics of the car. In particular is the lack of jerky gear changes in the auto transmission. Previously the changes were generally harsh regardless of the auto being in normal or power mode. Hard acceleration would cause savage gear changes. Now, and even in power mode under full throttle acceleration, the gear changes are smooth. It’s like driving a Statesman. The car is more responsive off the mark with a noticeable difference in mid-range power and torque. Overall, I am very happy with the components.
