Growler Cold Air Induction Holden VY V8 5.7 Gen III
Product Description
The standard system draws warm air from a small opening in the top panel and from a restrictive tube behind the bumper bar.
SS Inductions’ Growler system replaces the factory airbox altogether and is designed to maximise air flow and provide a shorter path to the throttle body. This delivers a fast, smooth flow and makes use of our superior Big Mouth inverted cone high performance rewashable pod filter.
With a great induction growl under heavy acceleration, expect to gain up to 16rwkw in power, significantly increased torque and throttle response and better fuel economy. Improves all models including HSV.

I got this kit on my stock ss the only other mods I have is a 2.5in cat back system with high flows, Ill have to say im pretty impressed with the sound over 3000rpm. Normally when im putting my foot into in 3 then changing to 4th it was like it had to build up a bit but now the rpms are straight up to 5000rpm changing gears! I love it good work.

Firstly I have been working on all makes and models of cars for years and playing around with cold air inductions.
Everybody remembers the ford GTHO with the shaker out of the bonnet.(bug catcher) worked well for its time but hot engine temps did start to heat the air up.
Why, because it sat on top of the engine.
With the Growler cold air induction with its smooth bent angels and large pod filter works very well, With throttle response and toque, was not hard to notice I was very impressed so impressed I went and got the throttle body and the air flow meter.
With throttle response and toque, is now even better again.
Fuel economy has already shown an improvement this will get better again when the ecu retunes itself properly in a few more kms .
I have also fitted this system to 2 of my mates cars as well and they also are impressed I also have my Ute on the new sprint gas sig system and the difference in power you cant pick and that’s on the dyno.
This product is well worth the money spent,
You get a factory like look,
A bloody big increase in Rwhp,
It’s an Australian made product,
The workmen ship on all parts of this Growler system is AAA+++ A1.
With the improved fuel economy the growler cold air induction system will pay for itself .

It looks good and sounds great makes people look at my WH LS1 Statesman now.
