Growler® Cold Air Induction
The standard system draws air through an undersized intake to a small opening in a restrictive square shaped airbox that disrupts airflow.
SS Inductions’ Growler® system replaces the restrictive factory airbox altogether with a bigger streamlined airbox that is much more efficient. Together with a larger volume of intake air it provides a more direct path to the motor with a smooth undisrupted flow. The kit includes our specially-designed Big Mouth® 9” inverted cone rewashable pod filter with a 5” diameter mouth which has a huge surface area for maximum flow. The Growler® airbox features additional viewing holes which not only allow you to see the condition of the filter for cleaning but also provides extra airflow into the system from around the bonnet area. The factory intake is retained, connecting into the side of the Growler® airbox and secured by a rubber seal.
Expect power gains of up to 12rwkw (6cyl), increased low down torque, sharper throttle response and improved fuel economy. Plus the growl under heavy acceleration! RRP $599.00.

Big Mouth® Cold Air Induction
The Big Mouth® induction consists of an air dam that sits behind the grille which captures and directs high pressure air into the factory intake. The kit includes an intake cover that minimises air pressure loss. As the unit uses the factory airbox and the air dam is fitted behind the grille it retains the factory look.
This low cost entry level cold air induction may be used on its own or in conjunction with the premium Growler® airbox.
Expect power gains of up to 8rwkw for the 6cyl and up to 18rwkw when used in conjunction with the Growler® on turbo and V8 models, plus increased torque and better fuel economy.
Kits are available with or without a Big Mouth® high performance rewashable panel filter (to suit factory airbox) - note that the panel filter is not required if the Growler® airbox is fitted.
